In January 2020, 159,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrbotten County (+5.0 %), of which 93,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 23 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased five percent from last year's January.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (19,200 nights).
