Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 24 percent

In June 2022, 80,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrköping (+24.2 %), of which 71,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 8,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 155 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's June.

19,800 rooms (+40.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 12,800 rooms (+28.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 253,000 registered bed nights (+43.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 24,900 (+65.8 %) for foreigners in Norrköping, in total 277,000 (+45.7 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.2 percent

Total of 6.9 million registered bed nights (+39.7 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.2 million nights (+17.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+259.5 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Norrköping out of total registered bed nights was 1.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.4 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

Length of stay was 1.5 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased four percent compared to earlier year. In Norrköping, length of stay in June was on average 1.5 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norrköping on average 1.5 nights (-8.7 %) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-33.1 %).

53,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 30 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 90.8 percent were domestic, and 9.2 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norrköping on average 1.5 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-0.49).
