Registered bed nights increased 32 percent
In December 2021, 19,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrtälje (+32.0 %), of which 18,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 680 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 32 percent from last year's December.
3,300 rooms (-9.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,700 rooms (+168.7 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 372,000 registered bed nights (+15.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 19,100 (+83.0 %) for foreigners in Norrtälje, in total 391,000 (+17.3 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
