Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 12 percent

In November 2019, 17,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrtälje (+12.1 %), of which 16,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 400 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 12 percent from last year's November.

3,400 rooms (+10.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,800 rooms (+0.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 310,000 registered bed nights (+10.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 23,900 (-21.5 %) for foreigners in Norrtälje, in total 334,000 (+7.1 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.6 million registered bed nights (+3.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.9 million nights (+5.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 731,000 nights (-6.7 %) by foreigners.
