Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased one percent

In December 2020, 14,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrtälje (+0.6 %), of which 14,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 630 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 27 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased one percent from last year's December.

3,200 rooms (-2.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,500 rooms (-26.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and December, 323,000 registered bed nights (-0.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,400 (-57.2 %) for foreigners in Norrtälje, in total 334,000 (-4.3 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.8 million registered bed nights (-47.3 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.6 million nights (-40.0 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 208,000 nights (-72.8 %) by foreigners.
