Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 41 percent

In March 2021, 19,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrtälje (+40.7 %), of which 19,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 43 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 35 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 41 percent from last year's March.

4,400 rooms (+110.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,700 rooms (-17.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 52,600 registered bed nights (+14.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,300 (-15.2 %) for foreigners in Norrtälje, in total 53,900 (+13.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.9 million registered bed nights (+2.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (+11.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (-46.3 %) by foreigners.
