Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 24 percent

In April 2022, 28,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Norrtälje (+24.1 %), of which 27,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 870 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 22 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 113 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Finland (135 nights).

3,900 rooms (-14.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,200 rooms (+159.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 84,100 registered bed nights (+12.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,600 (+45.7 %) for foreigners in Norrtälje, in total 86,600 (+13.0 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.2 million registered bed nights (+64.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+46.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 791,000 nights (+260.6 %) by foreigners.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 28 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.0 percent were domestic, and 3.0 percent were from foreign countries.
