Registered bed nights increased 22 percent
In December 2019, 1,700 bed nights were recorded in Norsjö (+22.4 %), of which 1,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 99 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and foreign bed nights increased 14 percent. In total, bed nights increased 22 percent from last year's December.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Finland (21 nights).
183 rooms (+96.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 370 rooms (+49.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and December, 20,300 bed nights (-22.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,800 (-16.6 %) for foreigners in Norsjö, in total 23,100 (-21.7 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
