Registered bed nights increased 24 percent

In September 2021, 2,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Norsjö (+23.7 %), of which 1,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 460 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 240 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 24 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (87 nights).

200 rooms (+107.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 260 rooms (-23.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 17,400 registered bed nights (-8.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,900 (+289.6 %) for foreigners in Norsjö, in total 20,300 (+2.4 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Norsjö out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

1,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 16 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 82.0 percent were domestic, and 18.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norsjö on average 2.0 nights (+0.12) and foreigners 2.2 nights (-0.23).
