23.7 million registered bed nights
In Jan–Dec 2020, 23.7 million registered bed nights were recorded in Norway (-32.6 %), of which 20.4 million nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3.3 million nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 33 percent from last year's Jan–Dec.
8.3 million nights (-36.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5.3 million nights (-41.0 %) by business visitors.

Length of stay increased 12 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 12 percent compared to earlier year. In Norway, length of stay in Jan–Dec was on average 2.1 nights (+12.2 %).
During Jan–Dec, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norway on average 2.0 nights and foreigners 2.4 nights .
11.4 million tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 40 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 87.9 percent were domestic, and 12.1 percent were from foreign countries.
During Jan–Dec, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norway on average 2.0 nights (+0.17) and foreigners 2.4 nights (+0.57).
