Registered bed nights increased 14 percent
In Jan–Dec 2021, 27.1 million registered bed nights were recorded in Norway (+14.2 %), of which 23.8 million nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3.3 million nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased less than one percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's Jan–Dec.
9.4 million nights (+12.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 5.6 million nights (+5.2 %) by business visitors.

12.6 million tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 10 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.6 percent were domestic, and 11.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During Jan–Dec, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Norway on average 2.1 nights (+0.1) and foreigners 2.3 nights (-0.09).
