32,400 registered bed nights

In June 2022, 32,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Nyköping (-0.2 %), of which 25,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 16 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 280 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased less than one percent from last year's June.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,100 nights).

7,500 rooms (+28.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 7,700 rooms (+12.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 107,000 registered bed nights (+25.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,000 (+46.1 %) for foreigners in Nyköping, in total 127,000 (+28.4 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 1.8 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased six percent compared to earlier year. In Nyköping, length of stay in June was on average 1.8 nights and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-13.2 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Nyköping on average 1.7 nights (-4.2 %) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-6.8 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased six percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 80.6 percent were domestic, and 19.4 percent were from foreign countries.
