Registered bed nights increased 102 percent

In September 2020, 2,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Ockelbo (+101.8 %), of which 2,700 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 66 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 103 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 65 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 102 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (52 nights).

41 rooms (-16.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 73 rooms (-38.7 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 35,100 registered bed nights (-7.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 560 (-69.9 %) for foreigners in Ockelbo, in total 35,600 (-9.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Ockelbo out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,400 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 153 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ockelbo on average 2.0 nights (-0.52) and foreigners 1.9 nights (-0.06).
