Registered bed nights increased 52 percent

In September 2021, 1,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Öckerö (+51.6 %), of which 1,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 147 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 51 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 55 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 52 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (101 nights).

680 rooms (+24.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 600 rooms (+560.3 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 17,500 registered bed nights (+30.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 760 (+59.0 %) for foreigners in Öckerö, in total 18,200 (+31.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 4.1 million registered bed nights (+30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (+24.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 723,000 nights (+65.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Öckerö out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 47 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.1 percent were domestic, and 8.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Öckerö on average 1.7 nights (+0.15) and foreigners 1.4 nights (-2.4).
