Registered bed nights increased 13 percent

In April 2021, 720 registered bed nights were recorded in Öckerö (+13.2 %), of which 680 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 39 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 550 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 13 percent from last year's April.

240 rooms (+41.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 185 rooms (+93.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 2,400 registered bed nights (-24.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 107 (-7.8 %) for foreigners in Öckerö, in total 2,500 (-24.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 2.6 million registered bed nights (+102.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.3 million nights (+103.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 218,000 nights (+90.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Öckerö out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

330 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 98 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.1 percent were domestic, and 3.9 percent were from foreign countries.

During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Öckerö on average 2.1 nights (-1.7) and foreigners 3.0 nights (+0.0).
