Registered bed nights increased 63 percent

In May 2022, 2,100 registered bed nights were recorded in Öckerö (+63.3 %), of which 2,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 167 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 56 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 230 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 63 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (39 nights).

720 rooms (+75.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 540 rooms (+28.8 %) by business visitors.

Between January and May, 5,500 registered bed nights (+51.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 460 (+193.0 %) for foreigners in Öckerö, in total 6,000 (+57.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Öckerö out of total registered bed nights was 0.0 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.0 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

1,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 77 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.7 percent were domestic, and 6.3 percent were from foreign countries.

During May, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Öckerö on average 1.8 nights (-0.19) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+0.5).
