14,000 registered bed nights

In September 2021, 14,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Oppdal (-4.7 %), of which 13,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 760 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 77 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased five percent from last year's September.

5,200 nights (+20.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,400 nights (-13.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 135,000 registered bed nights (+6.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,200 (-30.5 %) for foreigners in Oppdal, in total 140,000 (+4.7 %) registered nights.

The market share of Oppdal out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. In Oppdal, length of stay in September was on average 1.7 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-3.8 %).

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Oppdal on average 1.7 nights (+0.2 %) and foreigners 1.0 nights (-35.4 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.1 percent were domestic, and 8.9 percent were from foreign countries.
