Registered bed nights increased eight percent
In March 2019, 70,400 bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+7.6 %), of which 62,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 7,500 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 10 percent and foreign bed nights decreased seven percent. In total, bed nights increased eight percent from last year's March.
Between January and March, 168,000 bed nights (+7.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 20,200 (-11.7 %) for foreigners in Örebro County, in total 189,000 (+4.9 %) nights.

Total of 4.5 million bed nights (-3.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.6 million nights (-0.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 879,000 nights (-13.5 %) by foreigners.
The market share of Örebro County out of total bed nights was 1.6 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.7 % and foreign bed nights 0.9 %.
