Registered bed nights increased 42 percent
In February 2022, 45,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+41.8 %), of which 42,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 37 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 169 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 42 percent from last year's February.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (540 nights).
10,100 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 16,500 rooms by business visitors.
Between January and February, 76,000 registered bed nights (+35.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,500 (+123.7 %) for foreigners in Örebro County, in total 81,500 (+38.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
