Registered bed nights increased 25 percent
In June 2021, 112,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+25.4 %), of which 106,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 23 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 79 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (2,800 nights).
Between January and June, 313,000 registered bed nights (-0.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 16,800 (-12.2 %) for foreigners in Örebro County, in total 330,000 (-1.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
