In January 2021, 25,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (-54.5 %), of which 24,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 53 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 55 percent from last year's January.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (360 nights).

Total of 2.2 million registered bed nights (-42.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.0 million nights (-33.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 195,000 nights (-75.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Örebro County out of total registered bed nights was 1.1 % (-0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.2 % and foreign bed nights 0.7 %.

Length of stay increased 17 percent in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Örebro County, length of stay in January was on average 1.9 nights and in Sweden 3.4 nights (+45.2 %).
