Registered bed nights increased 28 percent
In May 2021, 77,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+28.3 %), of which 74,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,700 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 27 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 69 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 28 percent from last year's May.
Between January and May, 208,000 registered bed nights (-9.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,400 (-33.4 %) for foreigners in Örebro County, in total 218,000 (-10.7 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
