Registered bed nights increased 35 percent

In January 2022, 34,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro County (+35.3 %), of which 32,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,300 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 33 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 82 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 35 percent from last year's January.

7,400 rooms were booked by leisure visitors and 12,300 rooms by business visitors.

Total of 2.3 million registered bed nights (+4.9 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.9 million nights (-4.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 399,000 nights (+105.1 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Örebro County out of total registered bed nights was 1.5 % (+0.3 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.7 % and foreign bed nights 0.6 %.

20,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Of all registered arrivals, 94.0 percent were domestic, and 6.0 percent were from foreign countries.

During January, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Örebro County on average 1.7 nights and foreigners 1.9 nights.
