36,700 registered bed nights

In September 2020, 36,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro (-28.7 %), of which 34,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 2,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 74 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 29 percent from last year's September.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (560 nights).

9,000 rooms (-17.1 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 15,300 rooms (-30.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 364,000 registered bed nights (-20.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 22,500 (-83.8 %) for foreigners in Örebro, in total 386,000 (-35.2 %) registered nights.

Total of 3.1 million registered bed nights (-30.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.7 million nights (-19.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 441,000 nights (-61.9 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Örebro out of total registered bed nights was 1.2 % (0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.5 %.

22,100 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 31 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.5 percent were domestic, and 4.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During September, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Örebro on average 1.6 nights (+0.02) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.52).
