Registered bed nights increased 10 percent
In June 2019, 70,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Örebro (+9.7 %), of which 51,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 18,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 10 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's June.
12,900 rooms (+8.4 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 17,000 rooms (+12.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 261,000 registered bed nights (+4.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 48,700 (-2.1 %) for foreigners in Örebro, in total 309,000 (+3.0 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Length of stay in registered accommodation increased five percent compared to earlier year. In Örebro, length of stay in June was on average 2.3 nights and in Sweden 2.1 nights (+4.2 %).
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Örebro on average 2.3 nights (-3.8 %) and foreigners 2.2 nights (+13.0 %).

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased four percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.5 percent were domestic, and 27.5 percent were from foreign countries.
