6,700 registered bed nights

In March 2020, 6,700 bed nights were recorded in Orsa (-10.9 %), of which 6,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 580 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 19 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 11 percent from last year's March.

1,500 rooms (-22.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 560 rooms (+190.0 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 25,200 bed nights (+8.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 3,900 (+48.1 %) for foreigners in Orsa, in total 29,100 (+12.3 %) nights.

Total of 2.8 million bed nights (-37.8 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.4 million nights (-33.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 405,000 nights (-54.3 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Orsa out of total bed nights was 0.2 % (+0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

2,300 tourists arrived to accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased one percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 95.3 percent were domestic, and 4.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Orsa on average 2.8 nights (-0.32) and foreigners 5.3 nights (+0.14).
