18,700 registered bed nights

In June 2020, 18,700 registered bed nights were recorded in Orust (-13.3 %), of which 18,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 350 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 89 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 13 percent from last year's June.

2,200 rooms (-24.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 290 rooms (-8.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 34,600 registered bed nights (-5.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 620 (-87.1 %) for foreigners in Orust, in total 35,200 (-14.9 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.5 percent

Total of 3.7 million registered bed nights (-48.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 3.4 million nights (-32.3 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 257,000 nights (-87.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Orust out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (+0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.1 %.

7,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 23 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.2 percent were domestic, and 2.8 percent were from foreign countries.

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Orust on average 2.7 nights (+0.23) and foreigners 1.8 nights (-0.14).

Registered January-June sales were 8.7 million SEK and they decreased 2.4 million euro from the previous year.
