Registered bed nights increased 25 percent

In August 2021, 32,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Oskarshamn (+25.0 %), of which 27,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 310 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 25 percent from last year's August.

3,100 rooms (+48.8 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 3,500 rooms (-6.5 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 135,000 registered bed nights (+14.1 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 11,700 (+74.0 %) for foreigners in Oskarshamn, in total 147,000 (+17.4 %) registered nights.
