Paid bed nights
Registered bed nights increased seven percent
In March 2023, 445,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Oslo (+7.1 %), of which 317,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 128,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased one percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 33 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased seven percent from last year's March.
195,000 nights (+6.3 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 149,000 nights (+10.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 855,000 registered bed nights (+28.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 344,000 (+76.5 %) for foreigners in Oslo, in total 1.2 million (+39.7 %) registered nights.

Length of stay was 1.9 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. In Oslo, length of stay in March was on average 1.9 nights and in Norway 2.0 nights (-6.1 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Oslo on average 1.9 nights (-6.0 %) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-10.4 %).
233,000 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 72.6 percent were domestic, and 27.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Oslo on average 1.9 nights (-0.01) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.21).

985,000 air travelers
The airport received a total of 985,000 passengers, which means air passenger arrivals increased 26 percent.
Of local passengers, 52.2 % arrived from abroad, thus the share of domestic passengers was 47.8 %.
In addition, there were 989,000 passengers departing the airport (+28.2 %), therefore the total number of trips via the airport was 2.0 million (+27.0 %).
