Registered bed nights increased 90 percent
In February 2022, 16,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Øst-Telemark (+90.5 %), of which 10,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 6,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 2,000 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 90 percent from last year's February.
7,600 nights (+34.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,300 nights (+379.9 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 14,900 registered bed nights (+20.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,500 (+2,902.2 %) for foreigners in Øst-Telemark, in total 24,300 (+91.4 %) registered nights.

4,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 45 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 76.6 percent were domestic, and 23.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Øst-Telemark on average 3.1 nights (+0.27) and foreigners 6.0 nights (-0.15).

Registered accommodation sales in February were 6.0 million crowns (+2.5 million).
Registered January-February sales were 9.0 million crowns and they increased 4.0 million euro from the previous year.
