Registered bed nights increased 19 percent
In November 2021, 6,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Øst-Telemark (+19.5 %), of which 5,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 960 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased nine percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 151 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 19 percent from last year's November.
1,600 nights (-9.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,700 nights (+126.0 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 149,000 registered bed nights (+7.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 10,000 (-61.8 %) for foreigners in Øst-Telemark, in total 159,000 (-3.5 %) registered nights.

Length of stay increased nine percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. In Øst-Telemark, length of stay in November was on average 2.6 nights and in Norway 1.8 nights (-23.5 %).
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Øst-Telemark on average 2.4 nights (+1.5 %) and foreigners 5.1 nights (-27.5 %).
2,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased nine percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.4 percent were domestic, and 7.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Øst-Telemark on average 2.4 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 5.1 nights (+3.5).
