Östergötland County: Tourism in a nutshell
Registered bed nights increased four percent
In June 2019, 241,000 bed nights were recorded in Östergötland County (+4.4 %), of which 194,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 47,100 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased six percent and foreign bed nights decreased two percent. In total, bed nights increased four percent from last year's June.
Between January and June, 642,000 bed nights (+5.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 123,000 (-7.8 %) for foreigners in Östergötland County, in total 765,000 (+3.2 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.
