Registered bed nights increased 28 percent
In June 2021, 191,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Östergötland County (+27.8 %), of which 178,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 12,500 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 26 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 57 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 28 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (3,700 nights).
Between January and June, 502,000 registered bed nights (+6.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 42,600 (-2.6 %) for foreigners in Östergötland County, in total 545,000 (+5.6 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, holiday villages, youth hostels, campsites, and commercially arranged rentals in private cottages and apartments. Establishments with fewer than 9 beds or 5 rooms are excluded.

Registered accommodation sales in June were 56.9 million SEK (+19.2 million).
Registered January-June sales were 201.2 million SEK and they decreased 10.9 million euro from the previous year.
