13,200 registered bed nights

In November 2020, 13,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Östersund (-56.4 %), of which 11,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 48 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 80 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 56 percent from last year's November.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Latvia (430 nights).

3,400 rooms (-54.2 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 5,500 rooms (-58.9 %) by business visitors.

Between January and November, 220,000 registered bed nights (-22.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 31,700 (-80.8 %) for foreigners in Östersund, in total 252,000 (-43.9 %) registered nights.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 61 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 91.5 percent were domestic, and 8.5 percent were from foreign countries.

During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Östersund on average 1.9 nights (+0.23) and foreigners 2.9 nights (+0.65).
