Registered bed nights increased 21 percent
In October 2019, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Östhammar (+21.5 %), of which 4,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 320 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's October.
840 rooms (-0.5 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,900 rooms (+8.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and October, 127,000 registered bed nights (+3.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,700 (+35.3 %) for foreigners in Östhammar, in total 133,000 (+4.2 %) registered nights.
