Registered bed nights increased one percent
In November 2019, 28,000 bed nights were recorded in Ostrobothnia (+1.0 %), of which 22,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 5,800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased less than one percent and foreign bed nights increased seven percent. In total, bed nights increased one percent from last year's November.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Sweden (1,400 nights).
11,300 nights (-4.9 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 16,700 nights (+5.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and November, 300,000 bed nights (+7.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 80,000 (-2.0 %) for foreigners in Ostrobothnia, in total 380,000 (+5.5 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

17,300 tourists arrived to accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 85.7 percent were domestic, and 14.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During November, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Ostrobothnia on average 1.5 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.27).

Registered accommodation sales in November were 2.1 million euro (+144,000).
