Registered bed nights increased 21 percent
In June 2022, 3,200 registered bed nights were recorded in Other North Ostrobothnia (+21.2 %), of which 2,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 240 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 460 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 21 percent from last year's June.
2,500 nights (+19.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 690 nights (+26.4 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 9,200 registered bed nights (+0.6 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 5,700 (+1,235.1 %) for foreigners in Other North Ostrobothnia, in total 14,900 (+55.8 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 38 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 88.1 percent were domestic, and 11.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Other North Ostrobothnia on average 3.6 nights (+1.8) and foreigners 2.1 nights (+0.64).
