9,300 registered bed nights
In March 2023, 9,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Other Pirkanmaa (-8.5 %), of which 9,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 250 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 10 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 125 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased nine percent from last year's March.
7,100 nights (+5.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 2,200 nights (-35.8 %) by business visitors.
Between January and March, 24,000 registered bed nights (+31.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 630 (+11.4 %) for foreigners in Other Pirkanmaa, in total 24,600 (+31.2 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.7 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Other Pirkanmaa, length of stay in March was on average 1.7 nights and in Finland 2.0 nights (-6.0 %).
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Other Pirkanmaa on average 1.6 nights (-13.4 %) and foreigners 2.8 nights (-34.0 %).
5,600 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation increased three percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 98.4 percent were domestic, and 1.6 percent were from foreign countries.
During March, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Other Pirkanmaa on average 1.6 nights (-0.23) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.86).
