1,600 registered bed nights
In February 2020, 1,600 bed nights were recorded in Other Southwest Finland (-21.6 %), of which 1,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 140 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 12 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 63 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 22 percent from last year's February.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (31 nights).
930 nights (+31.2 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 640 nights (-50.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 3,000 bed nights (-7.5 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 270 (-63.3 %) for foreigners in Other Southwest Finland, in total 3,300 (-17.9 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

640 tourists arrived to accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 44 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 90.5 percent were domestic, and 9.5 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Other Southwest Finland on average 2.5 nights (+0.78) and foreigners 2.3 nights (+0.1).

Registered accommodation sales in February were 97,000 euro (-36,100).
Registered January-February sales were 195,000 euro and they decreased 40,400 euro from the previous year.
