In August 2021, 4,800 registered bed nights were recorded in Oxelösund (-18.1 %), of which 4,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 250 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 31 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 18 percent from last year's August.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (49 nights).
1,500 rooms (-10.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 330 rooms (+31.9 %) by business visitors.

Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 20 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 93.7 percent were domestic, and 6.3 percent were from foreign countries.
During August, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Oxelösund on average 2.1 nights (+0.07) and foreigners 1.7 nights (-0.33).
