Registered bed nights increased 14 percent

In May 2022, 4,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Oxelösund (+13.5 %), of which 4,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 197 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 11 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 174 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 14 percent from last year's May.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from United States (47 nights).

1,100 rooms (+57.9 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,000 rooms (+129.8 %) by business visitors.

Total of 5.4 million registered bed nights (+64.2 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 4.4 million nights (+46.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 993,000 nights (+241.6 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Oxelösund out of total registered bed nights was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

2,300 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 29 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 95.4 percent were domestic, and 4.6 percent were from foreign countries.
