Registered bed nights increased 10 percent
In July 2019, 20,400 bed nights were recorded in Parainen (+10.2 %), of which 16,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 3,900 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 17 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 12 percent. In total, bed nights increased 10 percent from last year's July.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Germany (1,400 nights).
19,000 nights (+11.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,400 nights (+0.3 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 30,700 bed nights (+7.8 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 9,200 (-5.4 %) for foreigners in Parainen, in total 39,900 (+4.4 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 86.1 percent were domestic, and 13.9 percent were from foreign countries.
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Parainen on average 1.4 nights (-0.06) and foreigners 2.0 nights (-0.15).
