Registered bed nights increased 23 percent
In June 2020, 11,700 bed nights were recorded in Parainen (+22.8 %), of which 11,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 420 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 44 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 75 percent. In total, bed nights increased 23 percent from last year's June.
Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (210 nights).
10,900 nights (+41.5 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 880 nights (-53.2 %) by business visitors.
Between January and June, 15,900 bed nights (+11.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 2,000 (-62.1 %) for foreigners in Parainen, in total 17,900 (-8.2 %) nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 41 percent compared to earlier year. Of all arrivals, 96.0 percent were domestic, and 4.0 percent were from foreign countries.
During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Parainen on average 1.5 nights (-0.16) and foreigners 1.3 nights (-0.69).
