Registered bed nights increased 15 percent

In April 2022, 15,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Pelkosenniemi (+15.4 %), of which 15,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 191 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 15 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 43 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 15 percent from last year's April.

Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Norway (110 nights).

13,400 nights (+15.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,900 nights (+15.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and April, 56,100 registered bed nights (-0.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 7,900 (+506.2 %) for foreigners in Pelkosenniemi, in total 64,000 (+11.1 %) registered nights.
