In January 2021, 7,500 bed nights were recorded in Pielinen Karelia Region (-10.1 %), of which 7,300 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 153 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights increased 14 percent and foreign bed nights decreased 92 percent. In total, bed nights decreased 10 percent from last year's January.
