20,500 registered bed nights

In September 2019, 20,500 registered bed nights were recorded in Piteå (-18.2 %), of which 15,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 4,600 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 24 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 16 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 18 percent from last year's September.

3,600 rooms (+0.6 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 4,900 rooms (-40.4 %) by business visitors.

Between January and September, 277,000 registered bed nights (-0.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 144,000 (+17.9 %) for foreigners in Piteå, in total 421,000 (+5.2 %) registered nights.
