In April 2019, 14,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Pori Region (-12.0 %), of which 13,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,900 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased eight percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 30 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 12 percent from last year's April.
5,800 nights (-15.7 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 9,100 nights (-9.5 %) by business visitors.
Between January and April, 45,000 registered bed nights (-20.4 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 6,800 (-25.6 %) for foreigners in Pori Region, in total 51,800 (-21.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 11 percent compared to earlier year. In Pori Region, length of stay in April was on average 1.6 nights and in Finland 1.9 nights (-0.4 %).
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pori Region on average 1.5 nights (-18.6 %) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+12.0 %).
9,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased two percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 92.6 percent were domestic, and 7.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During April, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pori Region on average 1.5 nights (-0.2) and foreigners 2.8 nights (+0.33).
