In February 2021, 8,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Pori Region (-35.2 %), of which 7,800 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 460 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 25 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 81 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 35 percent from last year's February.
4,300 nights (-17.6 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 3,900 nights (-47.6 %) by business visitors.
Between January and February, 13,900 registered bed nights (-29.3 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,000 (-74.1 %) for foreigners in Pori Region, in total 14,900 (-36.9 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Length of stay increased 17 percent in registered accommodation
Length of stay in registered accommodation increased 17 percent compared to earlier year. In Pori Region, length of stay in February was on average 1.8 nights and in Finland 2.2 nights (+10.9 %).
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pori Region on average 1.8 nights (+24.5 %) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+15.7 %).
4,500 tourists arrived to registered accommodation
Arrivals to registered accommodation decreased 44 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.6 percent were domestic, and 2.4 percent were from foreign countries.
During February, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Pori Region on average 1.8 nights (+0.38) and foreigners 4.2 nights (+0.63).
