Registered bed nights increased 20 percent
In July 2021, 29,300 registered bed nights were recorded in Porvoo And Loviisa Region (+20.4 %), of which 28,200 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,100 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 28 percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 51 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 20 percent from last year's July.
Most foreign registered bed nights were recorded for travelers from Estonia (370 nights).
23,300 nights (+42.8 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 6,000 nights (-25.1 %) by business visitors.
Between January and July, 76,800 registered bed nights (+31.0 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 12,500 (-1.8 %) for foreigners in Porvoo And Loviisa Region, in total 89,300 (+25.1 %) registered nights.
Registered bed nights statistics include stats for registered accommodations: hotels, motels, guest houses, hostels, holiday villages and campsites. Establishments with fewer than 20 beds or caravan lots with an electrical connection point are excluded.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 32 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 97.8 percent were domestic, and 2.2 percent were from foreign countries.
During July, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Porvoo And Loviisa Region on average 1.4 nights (-0.07) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-1.2).
