In January 2023, 6,900 registered bed nights were recorded in Aabenraa (-4.1 %), of which 5,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased six percent and registered foreign bed nights decreased 37 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased four percent from last year's January.

2,900 nights (+27.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (+116.4 %) by business visitors.

The market share of Aabenraa out of total registered bed nights was 0.5 % (-0.4 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.6 % and foreign bed nights 0.2 %.
