Registered bed nights increased eight percent (October 2022)

In October 2022, 4,400 registered bed nights were recorded in Älvkarleby (+8.2 %), of which 3,900 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 530 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased five percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 41 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased eight percent from last year's October.

620 rooms (-1.7 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+18.4 %) by business visitors.

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 18 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 89.3 percent were domestic, and 10.7 percent were from foreign countries.

During October, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Älvkarleby on average 2.1 nights (-0.2) and foreigners 2.4 nights (-0.26).
