Bed nights in paid accommodation

7,400 bed nights in registered accommodation

In August 2023, 7,400 bed nights were registered in Arboga (-16.4 %), of which 6,400 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 1,000 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 19 percent and foreign bed nights increased five percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased 16 percent from last year's August.

400 rooms (-36.0 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 1,100 rooms (+53.6 %) by business visitors.

Between January and August, 39,700 registered bed nights (-10.2 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 4,100 (-7.3 %) for foreigners in Arboga, in total 43,800 (-9.9 %) registered nights.

Total of 8.4 million bed nights in registered accommodation (-5.6 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.9 million nights (-9.9 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 2.5 million nights (+6.5 %) by foreigners.
