Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 120 percent

In January 2023, 504,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Copenhagen (+119.6 %), of which 230,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 275,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 68 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 195 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 120 percent from last year's January.

244,000 nights (+126.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 154,000 nights (+108.1 %) by business visitors.

Market share 37.1 percent

Total of 1.4 million registered bed nights (+73.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 925,000 nights (+53.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 434,000 nights (+139.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Copenhagen out of total registered bed nights was 37.1 % (+7.9 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 24.8 % and foreign bed nights 63.4 %.
