Paid bed nights

Registered bed nights increased 109 percent

In January 2023, 568,000 registered bed nights were recorded in Copenhagen Province (+109.2 %), of which 268,000 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 300,000 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights increased 67 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 171 percent. In total, registered bed nights increased 109 percent from last year's January.

282,000 nights (+112.4 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 172,000 nights (+105.0 %) by business visitors.

Market share 41.8 percent

Total of 1.4 million registered bed nights (+73.1 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 925,000 nights (+53.1 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 434,000 nights (+139.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Copenhagen Province out of total registered bed nights was 41.8 % (+7.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 28.9 % and foreign bed nights 69.3 %.
