Bed nights in paid accommodation

52,400 bed nights in registered accommodation

In June 2023, 52,400 bed nights were registered in Province Østsjælland (-6.1 %), of which 40,600 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 11,800 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased seven percent and foreign bed nights decreased four percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased six percent from last year's June.

10,800 nights (+7.1 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 10,900 nights (-22.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 150,000 registered bed nights (-5.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 31,200 (-5.8 %) for foreigners in Province Østsjælland, in total 181,000 (-5.7 %) registered nights.

Market share 1.2 percent

Total of 4.3 million bed nights in registered accommodation (-1.4 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 2.6 million nights (-6.5 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.6 million nights (+7.8 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Province Østsjælland out of total registered bed nights in Denmark was 1.2 % (-0.1 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 1.5 % and foreign bed nights 0.7 %.
