Bed nights in paid accommodation

6,600 bed nights in registered accommodation

In June 2023, 6,600 bed nights were registered in Enköping (-19.6 %), of which 6,100 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 480 nights by foreigners. Domestic bed nights decreased 20 percent and foreign bed nights decreased nine percent. In total, bed nights in registered accommodation decreased 20 percent from last year's June.

Most foreign bed nights were recorded for travelers from Denmark (96 nights).

1,600 rooms (+44.3 %) were booked by leisure visitors and 2,500 rooms (-18.1 %) by business visitors.

Between January and June, 33,100 registered bed nights (-5.7 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 1,200 (-56.5 %) for foreigners in Enköping, in total 34,300 (-9.3 %) registered nights.

Market share 0.1 percent

Total of 6.9 million bed nights in registered accommodation (+0.5 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 5.1 million nights (-1.7 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 1.8 million nights (+7.7 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Enköping out of total registered bed nights in Sweden was 0.1 % (-0.0 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.1 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.

Length of stay was 1.6 nights in registered accommodation

Length of stay in registered accommodation decreased 30 percent compared to earlier year. In Enköping, length of stay in June was on average 1.6 nights (-30.2 %) and in Sweden 1.9 nights (-0.1 %).

During June, domestic visitors stayed in registered accommodation in Enköping on average 1.5 nights (-29.5 %) and foreigners 3.1 nights (-59.8 %).

4,200 tourists arrived to registered accommodation

Arrivals to registered accommodation increased 15 percent compared to earlier year. Of all registered arrivals, 96.2 percent were domestic, and 3.8 percent were from foreign countries.
