3,600 registered bed nights

In March 2023, 3,600 registered bed nights were recorded in Faaborg-Midtfyn (-53.6 %), of which 3,500 nights were spent by domestic visitors and 117 nights by foreigners. Registered domestic bed nights decreased 54 percent and registered foreign bed nights increased 11 percent. In total, registered bed nights decreased 54 percent from last year's March.

2,300 nights (-47.0 %) were spend by leisure visitors and 1,200 nights (-11.2 %) by business visitors.

Between January and March, 9,500 registered bed nights (-32.9 %) were recorded for domestic visitors and 240 (-9.7 %) for foreigners in Faaborg-Midtfyn, in total 9,700 (-32.5 %) registered nights.

Total of 1.9 million registered bed nights (+7.0 %) were recorded in the whole country, of which 1.3 million nights (+0.2 %) were spent by domestic visitors and 595,000 nights (+26.2 %) by foreigners.

The market share of Faaborg-Midtfyn out of total registered bed nights was 0.2 % (-0.2 percentage points), out of domestic bed nights 0.3 % and foreign bed nights 0.0 %.
